WIDA Consortium: RESOURCES
WIDA (World Class Instructional Design and Assessment) is a consortium of states dedicated to the design and implementation of high standards and equitable opportunities for English language learners.
WIDA has developed useful resources such as ELD standards, Spanish language arts standards, and "Can Do" descriptors to help in planning differentiated instruction for ELLs. For more information about WIDA and to access its resources, please visit the link above.

TESOL Standards for English Language Learners

AMME Inaugural Conference
The Alliance for Multicultural Education is hosting its inaugural conference at the Albuquerque Convention Center during February 17-19, 2010. The conference will feature Dr. Thelma Melendez de Santa Ana, the Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education, as well as many other noted speakers.
